Well, oddly enough I have not posted on my blog for almost five years. The reason? I couldn't find my way back to it as a the original creator. For some bizarre and unfathomable anomaly, the powers that be, would not let me into my own blog. So, I sort of "Let it be."
Then today, I get one of those typical "Ghanaian Romantic Scam" scheme emails that I get, like 20 a day, that made reference to blog (here), which I opened. Of course the email itself had zero to do with anything I wrote within the blog, so it was dismissed.
The more important thing is provided a window back into my blog. That means I have been storing up almost five years of satire to load off on my blog.
Which oddly no one seems to have read, except a single scammer from Ghana.
Ah, such is life.
Cheers

Secret Order of Biased Hockey Referees Theory
This just more of a humorous observation than anything. I am of course a hockey fan. Now, the pompous attitude any true hockey fan takes is that of the triple hat wearer of armchair coach, manager, and president of a team. We often find that we are even arguing with ourselves on whether we should trade a player or not.
That's not neither here nor there as for the topic of this theory.
Now, I am a fan of the Vancouver Canucks. Hold off, I said in my introduction this is not all about flag waving and debating or defending the honor of your favorite team by trashing my favorite team, this is about the zebras.
I am only using the Vancouver Canucks and it's players as an example simply because I watch them play more often than any other team. In truth, there are many teams I like and respect as there are many players who I consider stellar athletes and excellent contributors to the sport of hockey. I repeat not about them, it's about the hand raising, whistle blowing, and hand gesturing refs and linesmen.
Here's the theory. They hate hockey, they hate hockey players. Why? Because they lack the talent to be hockey players and make the big bucks. Therefore with their meager salaries, they pile up their seething dislike for hockey players and the general managers who keep coming up with insane rules and regulations for penalties. Fact is, they would likely go on strike if they removed fighting from hockey. Refs love to see this high paid players knock the crap out of each other. We can only imagine what they whisper in the ears to players as they help them up. "Hey bud, you got creamed, I think that guy wants a shower date." Of course players can't complain, because that's hearsay and the NHL will fine a player for making such public statements against an NHL official.
If you are a fan, you will always feel that you are being wronged by these devious culprits wearing vertical prison garb. They are deceptive with the mood of their calls. Sometimes they appear to have lost their whistles and players start to feel energized and a little more step to their game with a touch more aggression, then oops outs comes that annoying shrill because a player tapped an opponent on the heel of his skate while following him and gets called for slashing.
I can only imagine how in every major city that holds a National Hockey League team there is a small licensed clubhouse with limited membership of a secret society of referees and linesmen where they sit about toasting each other for the disruption they create among players and coaches not to mention the fans. They laugh about their little inner jokes about the red face meter when coaches are spitting venom which they allow for as long as possible, then with glee from time to time eject the coach and penalize the team with a bench penalty.
Referees have no code of conduct. They do not have a governing body that decides their behavior to determine if they hold any prejudice against any particular team, player, or coach. There is no investigating panel to measure their actions. It is simply, they made a good call or oops, they made a bad call, sorry about that. Sure, if there is no clear cut decision by all the on ice officials then they go upstairs for a review, and if they can not conclude it locally then they call Toronto for a decision.
But next time that is done, listen very carefully to what the ref says. He says, "That upon further review, it has been decided that the goal was good/disallowed and play continues" Guess what. It is still the head referee that makes that decision. That is the only time a ref can be called on the carpet is if he goes against what was determined by video experts in Toronto. So, under such situations it is wiser to accept the statement from Toronto.
Now, they are being more tricky and the officials do a huddle, get on the same page and make an on ice decision that everyone is in agreement and what was seen by the referee goes without challenge. Further heating up coaches, players, and fans.
The question is: Why is it we never see recognized hockey players who have been forced into retirement early because of an injury that may have ended their playing career, but not their ability to skate about, become referees?
Would that not make sense? Would they not have a better understanding of the game, and a greater respect for the institution of the game? Please don't give me that it would be because hockey players as refs would show favoritism or vengeance. That doesn't hold water for the simple reason is the one of the most basic knowledge of the game is, you can be traded at the drop of a hat or bought out of your contract and then traded. Hockey players know that their worst enemy could one day end up being their teammate, on the same line, and even roommate on the road. They understand more than anyone about let bygones be bygones. So, in my opinion would make excellent refs.
Then, the thought of Tie Domi as a ref is an eyeopener, instead of breaking up a fight, he would join in. Yikes!

Introduction by Blog chief, cook, and bottle washer.
Just sitting here mucking about, I decided to give into the Blog revolution. Okay, I am not original in my concept but here it is.
When the fancy hits me I am going to toss out what ever theory hits me or other random thoughts that I have opinions on.
Anyone is free to agree, disagree, or toss in their own wild theories. All topics are welcome.
What is not welcome is one word, one sentence, and ignorant or lewd responses, behavior, or stepping up to the podium just to announce your small minded lack of education and intelligence. You see how I was clever and did not use the word stupid?
Who I am and what I am is a person who is well educated, intellectually gifted, and has a hazardous sense of humor. So you have been forewarned that I may attack your opinions and theories with what exists in my knowledge base, but using all the tools in my bag in the way of wit, satire, comedic sarcasm, double innuendo and devilish word play. Otherwise if you can't take a joke.......
Honestly, I really don't want any radicals, zealots, political favoritism, or flag wavers. You can state your case anyway you wish about any topic you wish but remember, it is only just your theory and opinion and it will be open to debate.
Point is, don't come in here and preach or campaign a cause, then defend it with venom. I want everyone to be open minded, and also enjoy themselves with a bit of tongue in cheek attitude.
Thank You and Welcome

Capitalistic Inverted Totalitarianism in America Theory
Well, it always surprises me that American society is so blind about what is happening to the United States of America. First they are a fabled democracy for the simple reason they are a republic. It is ironic that the two leading parties are such named Democrats and Republicans.
Justly so, the Democrats want to push public vote, they want to be diplomatic and peacemakers where the Republicans want to be a Superpower and warmongers. Yet none of it really matters anymore.
Everyone wants to blame the seated President but they fail to open their eyes, because he has little control over how the country is run, how the country is perceived, and they all age very fast in their one or two terms if they are lucky.
So, who and where is the real power? Easy answer, and the crazy thing is, Americans don't know how to crack a history book, it's all there. The power is the senate. This are the spin doctors of the nation. These are the people who can shuffle about and take the money and steer the ship, and slice a little off the top for themselves.
Okay, we all pretty well have clued in on that. But where does Totalitarianism come into play? Well let me spell it out. Totalitarianism is where a government has total control and authority over the society and citizens of it's country.
Sure, go ahead, put on a blindfold, and plug your ears America, you have rights, you are free to do and say as you wish, stand up and be proud. But do you have these freedoms and rights? Did not America enact the draft to send thousands of young Americans to their death in a war they had no business being in? Did you get to vote whether the draft should be implemented? Today everyone complains about Obama's heath care plan. Well, what that plan is, is not the original deal, still if more Americans actually read it, it is less expensive than the Canadian Health plan depending on your income and size of family. Not the point, you blame Obama but it was not until he hammered out something that was more agreeable on the hill with senatorial representation from all parties. Still, did YOU vote on it? The answer is no. You get to vote people in, and they let you vote on a few local issues to make you feel all like you have a democracy. You know, and oddly stated by a Republican in the Gettysburg Address, a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Funny that one eh?
Now, you wonder about the inverted business. Well, crack another history book my friends. Go back to World War II when Johnny come lately United States of America finally decides to join in with all of their glorious flag waving, entourage of journalists and news media, and charge in yelling and shooting aplomb. Yes! The US of A has decided to destroy the Axis powers. Then after that they decided to make a mountain out a mole hill out of the cold war against the Communist Soviet Union. Oh here is a tidbit. No one invited America to that either, the whole thing started in Canada when a clerk in the Russian Embassy was ordered to return to Russia, he did not care for the way of life their so he defected, problem was, he brought with him some juicy documents of a spy network working within Canada. Canada took care of it's business, but oh no, their good neighbors to the south had to make it an international standoff. Then now they claim to be the leaders in the war against terrorism.
Yes, I can understand that, they are justified in their anger, and the action taken by Al-Qaeda but again they pump out the propaganda that makes everyone squint and cross the street at anyone who has Arabic features.
Last but not least, capitalism. That is a given, a capitalistic society is one where the economy is controlled by private companies that make massive profit off the backs of everyone down the line. It is the most basic form of a pyramid society. As consumers and end users, everything we purchase, every service that we use goes through a myriad of levels and each level getting a bite of the apple. Yet each has part of that bite that is compounded and added to the next level up. The aggregate amount and effect at the top is mind boggling. Oh, and so many people believe that I am so wrong, that many businesses are not big corporations but are publicly traded and stocks go up and down. Yes, and I have a few bridges to sell you. Yes, such companies exist, and a few are unique, but most of them are simply held in a major shareholder situation and is either a shell, a subsidiary, or held in abeyance by a major corporation. Capitalists pull the strings in congress to control the nations economy in the structure of where the wage lines are set, the cost of living, the level of the economical poverty line, and what we must buy or else.
Don't believe me? Want an example? Okay easy, our good friends, cough cough, at Microsoft.
Here is the stand Microsoft is taking. You must buy Windows 8, you must accept touch screen technology, everything you own will serve no purpose in two years. You must accept tablet and smartphone technology. Your desktops and laptops do not belong in the future. The future is now. You will all be assimilated. Uh, my humble apologies to the Gene Roddenberry legacy and Star Trek fans. Which is funny, because back in 2009 on some site about the creation of the Borg, one comment stated it started as a cellphone. Well a nod to that person for being such a prophetic seer.
Any comments? Fire away, but expect some back flack.
